Additionally, keep in mind that discounted partner fares may not earn miles with US-based carriers.The SkyTeam alliance is putting Europe on sale right now from many US cities. We are seeing very low fares from Miami, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York. Destinations include Budapest, Vienna, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam. This appears to be an “attack” on AA hubs, so American might retaliate with low fares from Delta hubs later in the day (Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis, etc.).The fares are valid from September through December, with some limited availability continuing on into 2017. Flights can be booked directly on Delta’s site, although you may find cheaper prices by searching on Momondo and then booking with a third-party online travel agency.
