Prep. First, coat 1 pound (2 chops) with ½ a tablespoon of olive oil. Then, season them all over with ½ a tablespoon of pork seasoning. Air fry. Place your seasoned pork chops into the air fryer basket and 390°F (199°C) for 15 minutes.Flip. Once the 15 minutes are up, open your air fryer basket and flip the chops. Continue to cook them for 10 minutes or until the chops reach your desired internal temperature. 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare (*see note).Rest and serve. Once the pork chops have reached your desired level of doneness, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve your air fryer thick cut pork chops with any of your favorite sides. I opted for oven roasted potatoes and air fryer asparagus this time (but I love serving these with fried potatoes and onions too), and it was delicious! Enjoy! 💭 Angela’s Tips & Recipe Notes Pork chops should be a minimum of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare doneness, up to 160°F (71°C) for well done, depending on your preference.Preheating your air fryer to the cooking temp before adding your chops is not essential (I did not do it when I made this recipe), but it always helps develop the crusty sear on the outside even more! Storing: Place your leftover chops in a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 2-3 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheating: The easiest way to reheat air fried pork chops is to set the air fryer low to 200°F (93°C) and cook for 8-10 minutes until heated through.
