There is no need to go through all of the work to make homemade dough when Rhodes rolls are equally delicious, especially when you are needing rolls for a holiday meal! All you need to do is let the frozen rolls rise, pour some herb butter on top, and bake for 15 minutes.

Butter herb Rhodes rolls are incredibly easy to prep and quick to bake after the rolls rise! Take out a 9X13 baking pan, basting brush, and measuring spoons to get started.

This recipe will make 20 servings. There is more than enough to feed the entire family, and maybe even have leftovers!

  • Prep. Lightly grease a 9X13 baking pan. Place 20 Rhodes rolls into the pan with even space in between each roll. Take a warm, damp kitchen towel and cover the rolls (you can also use a piece of plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick spray). Then, flip it to drape over the rolls with the non-stick spray facing the rolls. Allow the frozen rolls to rise for 3-5 hours and double in size.Bake. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) after the rolls rise. Melt ½ cup butter and add ¼ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, and ¼ teaspoon of ground thyme. Mix until blended and pour the majority of the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Leave enough butterĀ (about ¼)Ā to brush over the top of the rolls at the end.
