Some of these ingredients might require a trip to your neighborhood grocery store, but I assure you that will be the most work! You may use piping gel in place of the icing or make homemade icing if desired.
- White Almond Bark - 24 ounces white almond bark (1 ½ pound package, chopped).Vegetable Shortening - 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening.Nutter Butters - 1 16-ounce package of Nutter Butter cookies (1 standard size package).Mini Candy Eyes - 1 package of at least 52 mini candy eyes.Pretzel Sticks - 26 pretzel sticks (halved).Mini Chocolate Chips - 1 tablespoon or 78 mini chocolate chips.Orange Nonpareils - 26 large orange nonpareils.Icing - 3.5 ounces of icing (one small decorator tube).

šŖ How To Make Nutter Butter Snowmen
These Nutter Butter snowmen are a wonderful Christmas-themed treat when you want to make a snack that doesn’t require a lot of effort! Take out a mixing bowl, a wire cooling rack, and a baking sheet to get started.
This Nutter Butter snowmen recipe yields 26 servings (one cookie each), perfect for sharing with a large crowd at your next Christmas party!
Melt the Almond Bark
- Prep. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or wax paper and then place a cooling rack on top.Make almond bark mixture. Crush the 24 ounces of almond bark into smaller pieces and transfer it into a large microwave-safe bowl with 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening. Vegetable shortening is the best to use to make a smooth consistency over other oils and butter.Melt. Melt the almond bark in the microwave using 30-second increments, and whisk in between each increment.Stir. Once the almond bark is almost completely melted, take the bowl out of the microwave and whisk the mixture quickly until it’s smooth.
Coat And Decorate Cookies
- Coat cookies. Dip the Nutter Butters into the almond bark mixture with tongs and completely coat them allowing the excess to drip off the cookies. After that, place them on the wire cooling rack immediately and stick on 2 candy eyes and 1 large orange nonpareil sprinkle as the nose. Place 3 mini chocolate chips down the middle for buttons. Repeat this step with the rest of the Nutter Butters, then allow the almond bark to set. If your almond bark starts to solidify while dipping, pop it back into the microwave and stir again.Make arms and scarves. Dip one end of the 26 pretzel stick halves into the almond bark and stick them into the sides of the Nutter Butter to create the arms. Place 3.5 ounces of red icing into a Ziploc bag or piping bag and make a small cut of a corner to pipe the red icing scarves.Serve. Serve once the almond bark is dry or store them for later.
