Elvis Presley on Velvet
It gets harder and harder to find a real treasure at a thrift store, but it wasn’t that long ago that I spied this one. An honest-to-goodness Elvis on Velvet! Suffice it to say, it was meant to come home with me and did.
The painting doesn’t come out of closet very often, but in celebration of Elvis’ birthday, it goes on display in a place of honor. (And right after his birthday, it will go back into the dark recesses of the closet.)
