It’s no lie that I love a great London broil recipe, but my slow-cooked London broil is extra tender and packed full of flavor! It’s melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfect for serving for dinner on busy weekdays.
All this London broil needs is a sprinkle of tasty steak seasoning and a quick sear on a skillet, then the crockpot takes over the work! Plus, I added baby potatoes, carrots, and green beans to complete this hearty and comforting dish.
🥘 Crockpot London Broil Ingredients
Pick up a London broil and some fresh veggies and you’re all set! If time allows, season your London broil and let it come to room temperature for at least 40 minutes (up to 2 hours) before searing it for the best results.
- London Broil - 2.5 pounds of London broil. You could use any London broil between 2-3 pounds.Steak Seasoning - 1 tablespoon of steak seasoning (or pot roast seasoning).Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon of olive oil (extra virgin).Beef Broth - 3 cups of beef broth.Butter - 2 tablespoons of butter.Baby Potatoes - 1 pound of baby potatoes (up to 1.5 pounds of red, yellow, or mixed potatoes).Baby Carrots - ½ pound of baby carrots.Green Beans - ½ pound of green beans.

🔪 How To Cook London Broil In A Crockpot
After you score, season, and sear your London broil, this dish becomes completely hands-off! You will need a baking sheet, cast iron skillet, kitchen tongs, a knife, and a crockpot to begin.
A 2.5-pound London broil yields roughly 5 servings. Plus, the tender potatoes, carrots, and green beans already make the perfect side dish!
- Prep. Place your 2.5-pound London broil on a baking sheet. Use a chef’s knife to score the London broil in a criss-cross pattern along the top and bottom sides of the beef. Season generously on all sides with 1 tablespoon of steak seasoning (or pot roast seasoning).Sear. Heat a cast iron skillet with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat and let it heat up until the oil shimmers and is just about to begin smoking. Sear the London broil for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned on each side. Use tongs to lift and sear the sides and edges as needed.Transfer. Transfer the seared London broil into your slow cooker and add the 3 cups of beef broth and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cover and seal with the lid.Cook roast. Cook on the low setting for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Add the 1 pound of baby potatoes and ½ pound of baby carrots at the last hour then add the ½ pound of green beans for the final 30 minutes.Cut and serve. Remove the steak from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Slice against the grain or pull apart before serving with the potatoes, carrots, and green beans.

Store cooked London broil leftovers in a freezer-safe storage bag. Make sure to wrap it in heavy-duty aluminum foil first to avoid frostbite. Thaw in your refrigerator overnight before reheating and enjoy it within 3 months.
