Tailwind Air launched its long-awaited seaplane service between Boston and New York City on Tuesday, closing the door on a nearly decade-long quest to bring the downtown-to-midtown service to the cities’ respective shorelines.Tailwind was the first airline to launch seaplane service between the two cities in modern times, after Cape Air pulled back on plans that it had set in February 2020, which were derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. There are some very exciting additions on the way to JetBlue’s business-class product, Mint.June 1 marks a major milestone for JetBlue, when the New York-based carrier launches its brand-new Mint seat on flights between New York-JFK and Los Angeles (LAX). German carrier Lufthansa has apologized for blocking a large number of Jewish passengers from a connecting flight from Frankfurt.The apology stems from a May 4 incident in which some Orthodox Jewish travelers on an inbound flight from New York allegedly refused crew instructions to wear masks, which is required by Lufthansa. Next, in an apparent attempt to bar those flyers from a connecting flight to Hungary, Lufthansa allegedly denied boarding to all passengers who appeared to be Jewish....

Phuket, Thailand’s most popular island destination, opened for fully vaccinated international visitors in July.Under the scheme, called the Phuket Sandbox, fully vaccinated visitors can enter Phuket from a list of approved countries, including the United States.
