United Airlines announced an order on Tuesday for 270 airplanes, a company record. It was the culmination of more than a year of planning and strategizing about the future of the airline, according to CEO Scott Kirby.Along with the order, United announced that it will introduce a new cabin interior for the new aircraft, and retrofit the entire fleet.
