Not many airlines are helping travelers avoid the situation either. Only American Airlines and Delta have issued waivers allowing free flight changes (see options below).For Friday, FlightAware has tracked 328 cancellations in the US, including:LaGuardia (LGA): 96 cancellations, 472 delaysNewark (EWR): 88 cancellations, 465 delaysWashington DC Reagan (DCA): 43 cancellations, 229 delaysNew York’s JFK: 25 cancellations, 458 delaysBoston (BOS): 16 cancellationsIf you get stuck with a cancelled or severely delayed flight due to weather, airlines aren’t responsible for paying for meals or hotels.
