It’s a basic economy ticket, but that’s a good price point, and the fact that you get to fly in and out of Burbank, one of my favorite airports for its convenience, is a nice bonus. We found nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Los Cabos Airport in May for only $246 round-trip on Alaska Airlines. We found a trip in late April out of JFK for only $334 round-trip. The trick to getting this excellent price is you have to book the tickets separately. You fly nonstop from NYC to San Jose del Cabo on JetBlue on a Blue Basic ticket. Your return flight will be basic economy on American. Keep in mind that a Blue Basic ticket on JetBlue doesn’t come with a free carry-on, but a checked bag is only $30.
