See privacy policy.Last month, “Encanto” picked up the Academy Award for best animated feature, the fourth win for Walt Disney Animation Studios, which also garnered Oscars for “Frozen,” “Big Hero 6” and “Zootopia.““Encanto” was also nominated for best original score and best song for “Dos Oruguitas.” On the back of its Oscar and Disney+ streaming success, the musical returned to theaters for a second run in February.Disneyland’s “Encanto” theme will culminate with an appearance on the grand finale float during the Main Street Electrical Parade. On April 22, the parade will return for its 50th anniversary. As part of the celebration, stylized scenes from several contemporary and classic Disney and Pixar movies will recreate the movie magic, including “Encanto,” “The Jungle Book,” “Raya and the Last Dragon,” “Aladdin,” “Coco” and more.
